Miami-Boardwalk

If you’re staying in one of our awesome South Beach Studios, you’ll know that luxury at a reasonable price just feels good, so why not get that feeling when you’re out and about on your vacation? Being a little frugal doesn’t have to mean you miss all that’s great about this glam corner of Miami – follow our tips and live the high life without cleanig out your bank account!

Getting around: Want to forget about sightseeing busses and cabs – get on two wheels! For just $6 an hour, you can rent a DecoBike and peddle your way all over South Beach (burning the calories in the cocktails you’re going to have later!) You can pick up and drop off at any decobike stations, you’ll see them everywhere.

Entertain yourself: You can’t beat people-watching in Miami for pure entertainment, so take a stroll on the Miami Beach Boardwalk, preferably as night falls to see the party people come to life. For some really cool architecture, be sure to check out the Art Deco District, and when you need to cool down in style, get to the Catalina Hotel & Beach Club with a free rooftop pool and a reasonably-priced restaurant next door, Maxine’s Bistro & Bar, which is open 24 hours.

A little Culture: Credit card can’t handle the high end stores on Lincoln Road? Distract (and improve) yourself at the Bass Museum of Art in South Beach, which is free the last Sunday of each month, and for night owls, the Wynwood Art District – which is the place to go for edgy, contemporary art –  has galleries open until 10pm on the second Saturday of each month.
