Miami’s Top Brunch Spots

May 12, 2014

Nothing beats a lazy weekend afternoon chilling with your better half or catching up with friends over coffee, eggs, pancakes and bacon (ok, and a mimosa or two, let’s be real), and because Miami locals take this tradition seriously, there are a host of awesome brunch spots where you can indulge. Check out three of our favourites:

MC Kitchen: If you’re in the design district, then get to MC kitchen early, because foodies in the know love this swanky spot for a gourmet Sunday morning treat. They’re focused on fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients and are loved for the stone oven baked eggs with spicy sausage and black truffle bruschetta.

Tongue and Cheek: Don’t go to Miami Beach without trying this place – especially if you’re looking for an excuse for day drinking. Pay $20 and you’ll get access to a neverending supply of bloody mary’s, bellinis, and mimosas. Oh, and the waffles are great too, if you need some carbs to soak up the booze.

Yardbird: If you’re staying with us in South Beach, then you’re just a few blocks from this great Southern comfort joint. We’re talking chicken biscuits, shrimp n’ grits, and the must-try maple-glazed bacon doughnut.
